It looks like 23 teams selected the 7 forwards, 3 defenseman, and 1 goalie format while 7 teams selected the 8 skaters and one goalie option. At least we are one more step of getting this expansion draft circus behind us.

Now that I've seen the protected lists, I'm curious to see the exposed lists as well since I don't know enough on too many teams to figure it out myself (for example, Boston protected Rask, so is Subban exposed or is he still exempt?)

Link has has exposed and protected list from every team

LV could have solid team this year or really set themselves up for the future by agreeing not to take certain players in exchange for picks and prospects. A lot of good goalies and young D exposed in particular

This is the protected list I wanted to see.

Interesting that Detroit has left Mrazek exposed. I wonder if we end up with a side deal to Vegas for him.

Not sure but Malcolm Subban is suited for an echl roster

Flyers exposed/protected list. Of course the exposed includes some free agents, so there's no way LV is going to pick them.

Subban was just by way of an example. Last summer when the expansion draft rules were announced I tried to think what would be the risk of not protecting Stolarz (after decades following the Flyers, my pessimission feared "great, we finally draft & develop a goalie and now he gets taken to go star somewhere else!"), and I'd quickly glaced through teams reserve lists and got as far as Boston before seeing Subban and thinking "higher draft status, more hype, more highly regarded, solid AHL numbers" ... then the season got under way and when I went back and looked again this spring Subban had been a disaster in limited NHL exposure, while Stolarz just continued to improve. So I started wanting Stolarz protected. Then Stolarz got injured and I started to wonder basically if that would scare Vegas off and could it be worth the risk to expose Stolarz. I wanted Stolarz to have the protected spot, and now that he has it's a moot point to ponder. which 3-4 goalies Vegas might take. ... But, I also don't seem motivated to read a whole bunch of motions stacked up on the other side of the room, nor want to go study, so here I am reading for updates
