            nolan's injury history:
            • 2011-12 Broken Collarbone
            • 2012-13 Broken Collarbone (Missed three months)
            • 2014-15 Groin/Lower Body Injury (Missed one month)
            • 2016 Offseason Sports Hernia Surgery
            • 2016-17 Groin/Lower Body Injury (Missed three months)
            • 2016-17 Knee/Lower Body Injury
just reading that makes it seem like he's been dealing with some bad docs eh? broken collarbones are not a common hockey injury. and then a lot of improper hernia diagnosis... but this is not a recurrence.

i feel like i've seen this a lot with bigger skill players. they're so used to absorbing contact with their bodies at lower levels without having to really protect themselves. then when they start playing against men they learn they can still be hurt. couts' concussions were like that. lindros too!

How did he avoid a concussion? I don't get it.

I agree. I really hope they're not brushing this off like they did with 88

I don't think so. Bill Meltzer said he was in street clothes up in the press box area before the game even ended and was walking around after the game talking to people. He felt fine and practiced the day after, so it looks like nothing to see here. They took him out as a precaution, but he's fine.
