I remember the 1999 one. IIRC correctly the streak ended in a game where Lindros had an epic fight in Dallas with Darien Hatcher.

We need a GM that isn't all about hoarding young talent but about creating the right mix of players. We clearly do not have anything close to the right mix of players. If that means moving Giroux or Jake, then do something already for **** sakes, there are coaches available right now who could right this ship, proven winners.
Pieces are in place for the future. We still need a top pairing defenseman and a scoring winger. Doesn't look like we are going to get anything from Free Agency or a trade due to our cap limitations. Development years ahead.

The media guide is not accurate. They have at least two ten-game losing streaks.

          The 2006-2007 season.

          http://www.espn.com/nhl/team/schedul.../phi/year/2007

Dec 2, Dec 27 - 10 losses, the first was a shootout, then 9 in a row in regulation! Ouch. 0-9-1

          The 2007-2008 season.

          http://www.espn.com/nhl/team/schedul.../phi/year/2008

          Feb 6, Feb 23 - 10 losses, 0-8-2

They didn't make the playoffs in '06-'07, but made the ECF in '07-'08.

We may witness history tonight. Wheeee.
