  • sorry if this question was already asked but...

    how exactly are we supposed to read these stats? what i mean by that is that it seems like we have tons of talent in the minors, but are they really as good as their stats lead on, or are their stats artificially inflated because they are the cream of the crop at that level? i.e. is patrick maroon really that good, or is the competition facing the london knights that bad?

    thanks for the answer. I want to get into the prospect aspect of the game, but this is a sort a nagging question i've had

      • JVR's UNH Wildcats will be facing off against Brad Phillips and Notre Dame this fri.Andreas Nodl is also on tap with St.Cloud up against Clarkson also on friday.I believe they are both being televised...on espnu,but i may be wrong.

              • I believe it is a one game and out tournament...and UNH is done...good effort by JVR at least.3 assists.....I didn't get to see the game...Nodl and St cloud are also out..have to wait and see on Ratchuk and MSU..i belive they are tomorrow against C.C.

                  MSU beat CC last night 3-1, they are still alive. Kempe and Maroon are out and I believe Kempe will sign an ATO in the next few days. Interesting thing about him is that he will be 20 before next season which makes him eligible to play in the AHL . Maroon I heard desperately needs surgery and was gutting out the last month of the season, he might not be playing again till next season.

                      The Second-Team All-Star squad is comprised of goaltender Marco Cousineau (Baie-Comeau), defensemen Kevin Marshall (Lewiston) and Ivan Vishnevskiy (Rouyn-Noranda) as well as left-winger Michael Dubuc (Rouy-Noranda), center Mathieu Perreault (Acadie-Bathurst) and right-winger Jakub Voracek (Halifax).

                      The First-Team All-Star Team counts goaltender Kevin Desfossés (Quebec), defensemen Marc-André Bourdon (Rouyn-Noranda) and Marc-André Dorion (Baie-Comeau) as well as left-winger Stefano Giliati (Lewiston), center Francis Paré (Chicoutimi) and right-winger Claude Giroux (Gatineau).
