this is on the spot so give me a second here, but even if it is just for the playoffs (if we make it there.. as in life nothing is guaranteed) we have an outing, get together for a game in honor of Frank. Or even, plus, whatever...
if we do get to live the dream we get an O&B contingent with a commemoration for a parade if we are so fortunate to see that...

So... what am I suggesting? Not sure yet as the ideas are all muddled...
But maybe we can do something to not mourn but celebrate a guy who in a lot of ways kept this little online Flyers community together, and maybe, just maybe if the opportunity came, represent for him on broad street if it came to that. (which of course is a long, long shot but maybe... if it happened though, as a gesture have Frank represented if it happened)

I hope that doesn't seem outta line.
      RIP Ogie/Frank!!!!!

Are there any charities that he was involved with? We could set up a paypal account and collect some money to be used for a donation to be made in his honor.

I would absolutely be willing to donate for that cause... thoughts???

Ogie, your insight and dedication to this site was always cherished. Hopefully your spirit will help lift this team we all love so much. It would be great if the flyers could or would acknowledge this great fan of the team at a game.

        God Bless your family

            Unreal.

            Poem of Life Author Unknown

Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
            to sweet eternity.
            We all have different journeys,
            Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
            but never meant to stay...
            Our destination is a place,
            Far greater than we know.
            For some the journey's quicker,
            For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
            We'll claim a great reward,
            And find an everlasting peace,
            Together with the lord.

God Bless Ogie/Frank. Condolences to his family.

Unless anyone knows of a charity that he supported, then wouldn't the Flyers Wives Fight for Lives be a logical choice?

Wow, I don't know what to say. I was joking around with him yesterday about the board being better if he'd leave, but I was only joking and I never meant anything like this!

                Gonna miss him around here

Yeah, perhaps we could all pool our money and donate it in his name or something.
