  • GDT: Flyers vs Rangers

    7PM ET

Farabee is back. Stewart out to make room. Niskanen also back from the flu. Hagg to sit. Hart to start.

36 games gone and this is the first of four meetings against the Rags this year. Crazy.

Rangers won last night. Flyers had a day of rest and are good at home, and have won three in a row after losing three in a row. Rangers are a decent road team this year though and are good against Metro opponents. Flyers might need to hold up against an early push and prevail as the game wears on.

Last game before the holiday break. Then four days in a row of football football football.

I am looking forward to Farabee - Frost - Jake. Lets get these 2pts without the ugly Rags getting any....regulation win baby!!

Great game pull away as several sick

What a crazy difference 12 months have made for our Flyers. From GM to coach to goaltending to defence to forwards to use of pipeline...absolutely astonished that this is happening to the Flyers. Good things NEVER happen to us. But maybe...finally we're getting some of what others have had for too long (of course, there is always a price for success).

Some things are going the Flyers way but then there are the Patrick and Lindblom situations. Itís not all good.

we rise to the challenge this year. last year we expected to fail.

islanders, caps, canes all lose in regulation. back into 3rd in the division and 5th in the league.

Hart was outstanding. He made that late surge possible by keeping the team from being in a big hole. Lundquist was good through the first two as well. I had to laugh at what a beating his save percentage took late when his team slumped in front of him. NAK barely cracks the lineup due to injuries and they put him out on the PP in garbage time and heís like Iíll get that! And given how many times former Flyers have been a pain in the *** it was nice to see Hayes so intent on feasting on his former team.

JJ made a comment that the Flyers have not lost in regulation to an eastern conf team yet this season. What a stat.

Great game result to put a person in a good mood just before they head to the airport to catch a red-eye to visit fam for the holidays.
