  • GDT: Flyers @ Hurricanes

    7PM ET

The Flyers are in dire need of a good sixty minute game. They should be hungry at this point after three straight losses, and being knocked out of a WC spot. A regulation win tonight would leapfrog them over the Canes though, who are one point ahead in the upper WC spot.

If they don't get their act together tonight it probably isn't going to suddenly happen tomorrow against the Caps and their best in NHL record. If the line tweaks get them back in sync again they could be fun to watch once more.

Braun out with a groin injury. Hagg in. Elliott to start

This team is gonna struggle until they get Ghost out of the lineup. Imo he is a giant liability on defense and just is not producing enough offensively to justify being in the lineup with his gaffes. They need to get out there and get a consistent defender who can protect the front of the net. Hart needs to learn to win on the road as well or will never reach that potential he is supposed to have. Not as worried about Hart as he is very young yet. If this team doesnt turn it around soon I foresee some changes coming. The excuse that they are young and will get them next year has run very thin. That being said.... the sky is not falling yet, they are a better team than last year at this time. Let's get it rolling

60 minutes is what we need, and then get some home cooking tomorrow.

Not great when as the coach says, Pitlick has been playing best.

They are lost. Their system isn't apparent. Getting beat to pucks and getting pushed around. I am so afraid this streak is going to get to 8 or 9 radioactive the way they are playing and looking at the upcoming schedule

I'm not sure Frost is the answer. He really hit a wall after a hot start. They need a spark.
