  • Pregame: Phantoms vs. Binghamton

Three degrees in Glens Falls tonight, perfect hockey weather as the Binghamton Senators are at the Civic Center for the second of a home-and-home series with the Phantoms. I’ll be updating this thread all along, so if you’re following along at home please hit refresh for the latest updates. You can also follow my Twitter feed (@PSPhantoms). The game is on radio at WNYQ-101.7 FM or online at I know you wont want to miss the second intermission guest.

Injury update:The extent of Krys Kolanos’ injury still unclear, but he won’t play this weekend. Being evaluated by doctors in Philly. Apparently it was a pre-existing injury that the team discovered over the all-star break. It’s described as a “mid-body” injury.

    – Johan Backlund led the team on the ice. That usually means he’s the starter. If so, it will be his third straight start.

    – Denis Bodrov will wear No. 8, although he didn’t appear to be dressed in warmups.
